Conquer the Cold Challenge Rockin’

Ninety-eight commuters from 80 employers are embracing the cold as they bicycle, walk, take transit, or use a moped to get to work.  The “Conquer the Cold” Commuter Challenge, running from Nov. 1 thru Jan. 31, has generated over 1212 sustainable trips totaling 24,900 miles to date.

The smart commuters are competing for bragging rights, swag, and a chance to win a $250 gift card raffle.  More importantly, they are helping to reduce traffic congestion and air pollution and getting exercise to boot!

To add to the fun, the Challenge mascot, “Scarf” the abominable Snowman, has been making appearances in Seacoast businesses as part of a Yeti scavenger hunt.
